Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ReviewWard ("we") handles personal data when you use the Service.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: your name, email, and password (stored securely) when you sign up.
• Business data: your business profile and settings.
• Customer data you provide: the names, email addresses, phone numbers, and consent status of your customers, which you add in order to send feedback requests.
• Feedback data: ratings and messages your customers submit.
• Technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. Roles

For your customers' personal data, you are the data controller and we act as your processor, handling it only to provide the Service to you. For your own account data, we are the controller.

3. How we use data

To provide and operate the Service: sending feedback requests on your behalf, collecting feedback, alerting you to issues that need attention, and offering review opportunities to your customers. We do not sell personal data.

4. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the Service, including email delivery (SendGrid), and database and hosting infrastructure (Supabase and Cloudflare). They process data only to provide their services to us.

5. Retention

We keep data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect data. No system is perfectly secure.

7. Your customers' choices

Customers who receive a feedback request can unsubscribe using the link in the email, or reply STOP to a text message, and can contact the business that sent it. Requests about a customer's data should be directed to that business, which is the controller of that data.

8. Text messages (SMS)

Where a business collects a customer's consent to be contacted by text, ReviewWard sends that customer a feedback request by SMS on the business's behalf.

• Mobile numbers are never sold or shared. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are disclosed only to our messaging provider, Twilio, and only to deliver the message the customer consented to receive.
• Message frequency: one message per completed visit or job. This is not a recurring or subscription programme, and we do not send marketing texts.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop immediately. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@reviewward.com.

9. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Who operates the Service

ReviewWard is operated by UNIVRSLL LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Michigan, United States, at 7401 Williamson Street, Dearborn, Michigan 48126, US.
